Despite what has been said about me I have not joined forces with anyone against Smug for any specific reasons. I look for a fair and balanced approach in any debate, but Smug's twisting of what people say to suit his own arguments and then posting a diatribe about the rights and wrongs of whatever he chooses is an irritation that need scratching. So it was scratched.

You are always going to get confrontations on forums such as this, simply because we all have different views and opinions. I try to avoid being personal and sticking to the arguments, but when people do come back with personal insults towards me, I just assume that it's because they have lost the argument and get on with life..
I never twist anything.
I post facts and logic which annoys people if it contradicts what they say.
I've noticed that people are always much angrier if you destroy their argument than if you post daft insults or whatever.
Don't worry, I can take banter and the like but I don't accept being called a liar, in real life or anywhere else.
When I say, you 'join forces' I mean that you'll latch onto a thread where I'm already being attacked and use that as a platform to join in.
Durham Stag does the same thing hence his congratulatory post to Cyprus. Once he's applauded someone having a go at me he takes up the attack and thereby enlarges ut.
You obviously have no interest whatsoever in the title subject so, why not just be honest for once, admit that it was the poster not the post that attracted you.

What a lovely message, thank you. It's humbling to know that I've prompted you to make such a rare post.
I post all kinds of stuff, some serious, some as daft as a Gascoigne and some deliberately taking the mick out of myself.
I'm always happy to put myself up as a punchbag for the Mag/Hull/other boards to wear themselves out on.
What happens is that they'll fail to prove their point and start with the insults and accusations.
Both the Hull and Newcastle boards discuss me every week despite the fact that I've been banned off them both for ages.
That doesn't happen because I've posted a few insults, it happens because I've hit a raw nerve despite the amount of
's they fling into their posts.People like ACS ban me from their board then send me creepy pm's and continue to attack me, on their own boards, where I can't defend myself.
I find that pitiful ...... they call it 'banter'.
Sadly, there are a few on here who see everything at face value and can't read between the lines. Someone decent, on here, mentioned that last week.
They're sad & bitter people, who contribute virtually nothing to this forum, but I think my presence on here is just disrupting the boards and the good folk on here don't deserve that

Sadly people feel free to say owt they like, disrupt threads and generally take the piss.
Yet, with no sense of shame, they take great offence if you respond in kind or x that by two.
They seem to believe that there's a limit on what can be said but that limit is set by them.
I'd have thought it was beyond obvious that some of the stuff I post is deliberately edgy to annoy wum visitors or provoke some harmless debate.

At the end of the day, somebody has destroyed the integrity of a thread designed for help regarding ticketing to pursue an agenda by someone who's not even going. That's out of order as these threads should always be left free of this rubbish. These threads are always left argument free of this ****, out of respect of the subject matter (mackems helping mackems). you've stuck your finger up at all that to join in with sticking the boot in. For shame. If he bothers you so much start a thread and call him out. Don't **** it up for everybody else who wants a ticket or need information regarding ticketing.
