Ex Spur thread

Ange has joined Al Nassr on a two year deal.

More his level tbh.

Had no business being anywhere near a PL club.

Now he gets to deal with a 64 year old Ronaldo desperately chasing a thousand goals.

How are the Ange fans gonna spin this?

He’s gone for the money, plain and simple. It’s a substandard league.
Do you mean in the media or spurs fans?
Imho I think he deserves some respect from spurs fans for bringing us our first trophy in over 17 years and our first european trophy in over 42 years.

As for what he does now...I could not care less tbf but wish him well

anyone in particular who thinks he’s a top manager. He’s not.

Australians who now hate Spurs because they rightly sacked him.

People who think he deserved season 3 even after 17th place finish, 22 league defeats and 38 points.
I thought winning a European trophy should have given him another go...but didnt call him a top manager.
I rarely call for managers to be sacked and think I said that we should remember how awful our first 4 seasons were under Burkinshaw yet because he was given time to learn he became an excellent manager for us.
We'll never know if I had a point or not and tbh it dont mean I thought he is a top manager tbf

TBH Ange has done a lot to diminish himself with some of the bullshittery he's spouted about his transfer targets in recent months - while unintentionally justifying his sacking as the targets he named were all wingers when the midfield was crying out for something other than a marathon runner
