Only 24 caps for England...an absolute disgrace! Another example of the mismanagement of the international team during the 70's. The likes of Big Chiv, and the mercurial talents of Alan Hudson, Tony Currie and Frank Worthington were all largely overlooked for the likes of Clarke and Lee.
Such sad news about Chiv , my son works with one of Martins sons, he called me this morning to tell me that something had happened

Oh no....! Not another one.
He wouldn't have been my idea of a 'Sours player' (whatever that is) but he came in and did a good, professional job at a time of transition and I have no doubt he helped the development of that unit which became one of the most exciting Spurs teams of the last 50 years.
RIP Terry Yorath, remembered more for his time with Leeds and as a Welsh international when we had the home internationals every summer, but a great pro who never let us down (unlike a few of todays wasters)
He possibly kept Keithy safe from the sack for a year or so. Was just was what was needed at the time.
