Willie Young made the same switch as Pat Jennings , he said Spurs fans throw beer and pies at me but they throw roses at Pat <laugh><laugh>
Because Pat had no choice, Young did. I'm sure there's another centre half that his story more resembles but I can't think of the name.

Troy Parrott has just proved a lot of people wrong and proved himself to be a top striker.
5 goals over 4 days in 2 high pressure WC qualifiers, 4 instinctive finishes and a calm penalty.

The question will always be asked, did we do everything to help him establish at the highest levels? His personal associations certainly didn't help his development, but he would surely be a a step up on our frontline right now.... I'd rather have a Parrott than a pigeon!

I belive he picked up an injury when he was with our U21s that sidelined him for some time, and I recall Lilywhite Rose noting he'd lost a lot of the pace he had in our U18s due to this

Also had a couple of ankle injuries on his first loan that scuppered his chances of playing at a key time and also saw him have to drop to League One for his following loans

He has certainly had more than his fair share of longer-term injuries, even this season he was out for several weeks.
He's still young and I just recall how highly he was being spoken about when he was a junior back in 17/18, but only ever played twice for us.
To be fair, he played over 70 games for MK Dons and Preston for only 11 goals, so it's not like he was tearing it up at those levels.
