Yesterdays charity match, who's that between Defoe and King? Could be Sabastian Bassong but I'm not sure

Two players missing from the line-up in that picture, as far as I can see.
I'm going to assume that Stephen Kelly is taking it, while Bentley's grabbed an ice bucket off camera! <laugh>

Why the **** did they get Clattenburg in to ref? Rancid pillock.

A cheeky sliding tackle on the ref and no ban?
A few ex spurs among the "celebrities". Harry insisted on O'Hara being out of the squad? Not sure why they did not include Smith, Daniels and Routledge in the home dressing room?

Imagine having prime versions of Davids, Palacios, Huddlestone and Sandro to choose from. Nearly as good as the Eriksen, Dembele, Wanyama and Alli vintage

Worryingly and also annoyingly, many of those ex-players were (still are?) considerably better than our current options despite a fair number playing in periods where we had lesser expectations of player quality.

Chimbonda > All our RBs/ RWBs
King, Kaboul & Daws > All of our current CBs
Bassong > Dier, Sanchez & Tanganga
Rose > All our LBs/ LWBs
Davids, Sandro, Hudd & Palacios (pre-horror ordeal) > All our CMs bar probably Bentancur who’d be on a par, albeit Bissouma of Brighton would have something to say
Lennon > Kulu’s current form, Richarlison & Danjuma
Defoe & Keano > Richarlison

A few actual footballers to fill out the opposing side, I'd have thought.
Not many appearances for Spurs amongst that group either, despite very respectable careers.
Can't Control was the only ex-player with no connection to the club, wasn't he?

Well worth 22 minutes of your time, proper players (and manager!) these were for us.

Looks like it's been taken off YouTube by the club. Probably to save themselves from the embarrassing fact that old overweight ex players are miles better than the current team.

It shouldn’t be, I keep forgetting they block viewing their videos as an embed on here and should just post the link but if you click the “Watch on YouTube” bit it’ll take you to the video.

Still works. You've just got to click on the link. All of the club's Youtube clips are like that.
