Even though his end product wasn’t always the best, Lennon was genuinely one of the most exciting players I’ve had the fortune of watching. First thought whenever he got the ball was to take on the FB and get a cross in, his pace during his prime was so frightening. Don’t really make wingers like him anymore either. Happy Birthday, good sir!

What wouldn't I give to see that midfield of Lennon, Modric, Sandro, Bale and VDV again, just one more time? Such a glorious balance of pace, power, skill, tenacity and wizardry.

He's played 29 games this season for Keyserispor in the Turkish Super League. 3 assists.
They're in a relegation battle, but he seems to have hit a run of decent fitness and he's playing and starting regularly.
Only missed one match out of the last 26 and that was due to picking up too many yellow cards.

So after talking about one of the most exciting players I’ve seen at Spurs, it’s only fair to talk about another:

Shocking miss. The did win comfortably anyway and he did score, though the keeper should probably have kept it out:

Very nicely worked consolation goal for the opposition before Janssen's glaring miss.
Puts them through to the quarter-finals where they'll face US side Columbus Crew later this month. Good luck to him.

Wanyama scores a header, though the defender appears to have no idea that he's there, at all. Could play for us.

Superb finish by Nacer Nacer Chadli for Basaksehir in Turkey.
Caulker also scored for Alanyaspor in their 3-2 win over Gaziantep, but I can't find a clip that's not region locked, annoyingly.
