Love that guy. would never have let him go
Thanks AVB, you twat! :emoticon-0121-angry

"It was private things, but also when what's his name [Andre Villas-Boas] came he said to me 'you're not my number one' and I had played two years, like, unbelievable, so for me it was really strange that he said that to me. So then I said, well, it's better to leave and that is what happened.

"It was a stupid decision, the most stupid in my career to leave Tottenham. I absolutely regret it because it was the best two years in my football life.

"When you see that team, when you have [Gareth] Bale, [Luka] Modric, me, [Aaron] Lennon... it was an unbelievable team. I think every game we played we were the better side. We had a lot of possession and a lot of fun with each other.‘

Think VDV would have been forced out eventually
by AVB anyway. He was never an AVB type of player
(who obviously did not understand that VDV was very
much a classic Spurs player) .

I recall hearing that VDV was sold to free up funds to sign Moutinho...which worked out brilliantly, given Moutinho was tied up in the usual third party bollocks so his fee ballooned

On the plus side that money instead went on Dembele

Alex Pritchard on fire for Huddersfield. Fantastic to see.

I see he scored early on. Bournemouth are having a bizarre season. Dictionary definition of 'hot & cold'. Anyone up to 10th could be dragged into a relegation scrap I can't recall it ever being this open so far into the season.

Also won a pen in injury time running through the centre of the Cherries defence. Looked unplayable.

I don't know if you can sell on a clause like that after Norwich sold him but as a back-up to Eriksen he'd be valuable.

If he starts to play to the level we hoped he would
have at Spurs, it looks like poor foresight
selling Pritchard (unless he had "attitude" issues) .
