He is a massive twat, to be fair! <laugh>

They don't see him like that, unsurprisingly and also cannot comprehend why we hate him so much.

Judging by the various responses, most of them see him as archetypal of the inertia under Wenger wherein under-performing players are tolerated and even indulged in for years on end without showing so much as a sniff of improvement.

He's also a great example of the poor attitude that a lot of their players have displayed in recent years.
A real indictment of their approach to injuries, too.
Rushed back time and again, which now seems to have crocked him completely.

Nice piece on the OS with Jermain Defoe:

“You move on and new players come through, fantastic players, but I’m still there as fifth all-time top goalscorer.
I just think of the legends who have played at the Club.
To know that when I’ve finished playing I can look at that list and see my name is something special.
My heart will always be at that Club.”

<applause> Nice to see him recalled to the England squad, too.

Enjoy it while it lasts Jermain. Give it a few more years and you'll be 6th. A couple more after that, 7th.

Oh wait silly me I forgot, Kane and Alli are moving to City next week.

As you were.

'Arry has said he is interested in taking BAE to Birmingham City next season.

The problem seems to be that Benny has set his heart on becoming a porn star........makes fluffing a chance a whole different thing altogether.

He'll be OK as long as he doesnt shoot from outside of the box......

Teddy Sheringham set to be appointed manager at Swindon Town.

An interesting appointment to a club who should never be where they are at the moment.

I have a nagging memory of Carrick hitting the post at The Emirates from about a yard, maybe less.

HOW CAN YOU MISS FROM THERE?

I'm over it now, though....... nearly.
I meant Saha and Carragher, but I didn't realise that they'd both outscored Carrick! <laugh>
One of them played 10 games in six months and the other was a defender for a completely different team.
I know that Carrick isn't about goals, but that's not great, is it?

Carrick scored a rather tasty goal today.

Looks like Souleymane Coulibaly's had quite an experience in Egypt:

Martin Jol didn't last long at the same club, citing similar concerns for his safety.
