Odd that IIRC the club never said anything about him leaving at the end of his contract, given his impact in the CL last season and the fact he seemed like a model pro.

Smithy - Olyroos are the Australian Olympic Football team which is restricted to under 23's and can have 3 overage players in the squad, as opposed to the Socceroos which is the senior mens team. Clear , hope so

There were several times on Saturday when I thought his presence was needed. In fact pretty much up until the 85th minute

I wish him well but his post-Spurs career follows on from what he did with us. A mixture of lots of so-so performances with the odd bright spot.

There's more to his game than he shows most of the time.
