I wonder what Cliff thinks when he watches wingers today receiving the ball and automatically passing it back?

Bentaleb is a player who had such authority on the pitch even at 19. He was a bit raw then in terms of quality but still very good indeed. If he's screwed his head on right by now I would welcome him back with open arms.
I thought he was going to develop into the next club captain! Such a waste of potential instead. So the observations on his having sorted himself out are very encouraging, and if that’s all true, I too would welcome him back with enthusiasm.

I take it you didn't come back on the same flight Maggie?
Unfortunately not! Never to be forgotten trip though. Never been abroad or flown before (as I think I've said many times before so sorry if I'm repeating myself, its an age thing I s'pose :emoticon-0100-smile) Loved Holland, loved Rotterdam, loved the Dutch people who all seemed to support us and loved the result. A never forgotten experience! Been to Holland many times since, always enjoyed it but nothing compares to that first special trip watching my Spurs being the first English side to win a European Trophy <party> and I especially loved THAT team! :emoticon-0152-heart COYS.

I'd bore you to death,Maggie. I love old trains,buses,trams…..like running away from Tottenham, catching a 33 tram to the Embankment via my favourite Kingsway Tunnel, catching another tram to Tooting to visit Nan's friends.....at age 10. Dennis by name and Dennis by nature!
I would probably be murdered if I did that today!!!
….and my favourite beer now is Guiness, which I shall enjoy this afternoon at the Shamrock Pub.....with bangers and mash. COYS!

Don't worry Smithy I'm fairly sure you live in the USA so knew i'd be safe from splashing out ! <laugh> Just out of interest I too love old trains, trams etc. Used to travel down to Wales (Welsh Mum) every summer on the steam train & spent many happy hours collecting train numbers with my mates at Kings Cross where the drivers would often let us onto the footplate. That was magic! Enjoy your bangers & Guiness :emoticon-0148-yes: COYS.
