I remember his first game. The kid covered every blade of grass.Won just about every tackle. The opposition wondered what had hit 'em. Thanks Steve!
Watford's have cancelled the contract of Younes Kaboul but mutual consent, he only played 26 prem games for Watford
That might be it for him, unfortunately. He's only 32, but he's barely played in the last two seasons, only managing 2 games in that time. Maybe he'll get another move and manage to recover his fitness, but only he will know if he's up to it.
I read that Modric has won 15 trophies with Real Madrid. Why didn't he stay and win 15 with us?????????!
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/46673806 Just in time for us to face his current side. Always gets a good reception.
The game - and life in general - needs characters Ike this. Benny brought a refreshing blend of skills and attitudes that not everybody ‘got’, but despite what some thought, his commitment to the club was never less than 100%. Never played the Billy Big Bollocks on or off the pitch and consistently demonstrated a natural empathy with the fans and the local area. Never more than in the aftermath of the riots when he was back walking up and down the High Road, supporters not local businesses, getting his hair cut etc. God knows what Poch would have made of him, but a little bit of me thinks that the two of them may have actually worked well together.
I was using a Glen Hoddle link. It was good news, so the fact it was polluted by the Sun is an aside. A bit like Spurs winning at the Emiroids.
