Tripps has spoken out against our post season friendly against Newcastle. Says it’s not ideal especially in a tournament year.

Glad someone has spoken out about it. It was a stupid decision the moment it was announced, not only for what he says but considering not long after the FA Cup change statement came out, it just made it all a mockery.

Probably doesn't help that both squads are struggling badly with injuries, either.

Jose to Fener on a two year deal.

They’re gonna be in for one wild ride. Finished three points behind Gala last season having lost just one game. I’d say they’re the sort of club that Jose will help get over the line next season though, could be the perfect appointment for them.
 
Watching Defoe in this charity match and I’m convinced that he’d be our first choice striker if he fancied coming out of retirement. Absolutely still got it.
