Every time I look at that incident, I believe it's a red card.
Me too! But not even a 2nd yellow?????
There was an Incident in the first half with a deliberate jump at a Southampton defender with a knee in his side. No raised elbow as such, but a ref yesterday determined similar incidents to be rightly worth sending Carroll off for.
No ****ing consistency!! <doh>

Every time I look at that incident, I believe it's a red card.
However, in the same match Bruno's elbow which resulted in a penalty was only given a yellow rather than the straight the red that it should have been, so there was a degree of consistency in the same match.

Discussing why he made the move in the first place, Modric told UEFA: “After four seasons with Tottenham, where I had grown as much as possible, I needed new challenges for the sake of improving, I couldn’t think about anything else.

Google translate (footballer to English) :

Spurs did not qualify for the CL in 2012.

That, together with the comparatively lower wages I
was earning, meant I couldn't think about anything
else other than try to jump ship again like my failed
attempt in 2011. Since Levy made it clear a move to
a PL club was not going to happen, Madrid it was.

Really should join a club where he's more involved in an attacking capacity.

What on earth was Schmeichel doing?! His footwork is all over the place and he completely misreads the flight of the ball. Vastly over-rated keeper who seems immune to criticism thanks to winning the title with 4 defenders stationed more or less on his line, and the reputation of his father.

He definitely got this one wrong. A decent keeper but never a great one. Took an age to line the wall up and then got his feet in a tangle.

Thank God he is still with us.
A lovely man, a great player and ridiculously good looking.
I loved his entrance at The Lane/The Finale.
I wish him continued good health.

A bit scruffy though and surely leaves too many buttons undone to pass the official Spurcat inspection?

When we beat them 6-1 last year I felt he should've saved at least 3 of our goals. Again, the problem then was how he'd mistakenly shifted his weight too early and couldn't sort his feet out in time.
