Kyle Walker's mild-looking injury v Utd was a lot worse than it seemed: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/63160650 He's had a groin operation and may not make the England World Cup squad.
RIP John Duncan A proper Spur and a much better player than most ever appreciated. Thanks for the memories.
Although my old man was London born and bred he was always happy when we signed a Scot , he wasn't wrong , some of our best players have come from Scotland over the years and I would count John Duncan one of those . RIP John
Absolutely (one of the cadre of players who remained during the post St Nicholson trough and got the club back to a level at the start of the 80s where Keithy could restore the Spurs way) .
Played at a time where we had a swathe of non scoring CFs - Chris Jones, Gerry Armstrong, Ian Moores, Colin Lee. He was absolutely the best of this bunch (although I was a Chris Jones fan, but man he missed a few sitters). Was the best we had after Chivers/Gilzean period and before Crooks/Archibald, and a very skilful player as well as a productive goal scorer. If I recall, had more than his fair share of injury problems. Very sad news.
That quote may seem offensive, but remember it was "phased plasma" Gandhi in the aged 40 (what) range.
