Staying on the managerial appointment front, Sky reporting Lennie Lawrence is taking over at Hartlepool at the age of 76! Only in caretaker capacity though.
Does that mean he has to clean the toilets, put the bins out and paint the fences? Like most caretakers.
Anybody seen Tommy Doyle's goal for Wolves last night - absolute left foot screamer. Boy, how we could do with him back in our midfield this season.
Do you really know anything about the game or are you just as clueless as your posts suggest? Doyle wasn't a raging success during his loan with us but he was just 19 then and playing in a physical Championship after playing boys football at Man City. Did you watch him last season playing for the Blades? Instrumental in taking them up and he'd be a huge asset to us right now. As it is he's playing Prem football on loan at Wolves and that goal alone was worth the fee. He'd be first name on the teamsheet for a midfield spot with us.
Both Sparks. He knows nothing and is clueless. Not in his opinion though, just everyone else's. I see Aber tore him a new one yesterday. Job well done.
