Nothing personal against the guy but he was down there on the list of our worst strikers. In fact that's a Trade's Description error - he never managed a strike for us.
Must have trebled his career scoring total.

McCarthy dropped a real bo££ock by not playing him.
He did a good interview under the Ninian Stand before a recent game. Articulate and well spoken. Tomlin not MM.
What would we give for a playmaker, when fit, of his quality now? Ubgo would be in double figures for tap ins.
Hope he does well in his coaching career.
Since the days of Bothroyd Whitts Chopra Burke McCormack etc I can’t think of any flair players, one who could turn a game like Tomlin could in our ranks.I read that. Good article.

In the brief time we had him he was a joy to watch. His lob and then flick to Glatzel at Leeds were both outrageous
