Who would you have as our next Manager

The board have done very well for us...their sin this time is believing someone that we all believed as well. Our club is well run, is financially sound and does better every season. We have good players and are in the league stage of the Europa next season. Koeman is part of the reason for that, but isn't the sole reason. He isn't the Messiah you know. Les Reed and our system are still here. They tried to keep RK by paying him what we thought he was worth and we could afford. We just need to have some faith.

PL is ****ing brutal.

For what it's worth, it doesn't seem like a big step for Koeman. Testament to your club's recovery and resurgence.

De Boer sounds a good bet.

Good luck... fully expect another good summer for you, funded by us spending £40m on Mane no doubt.

I beginning to feel pretty good about this. I complained pretty loudly that I found Koeman's football boring. It wasn't until the final third of the season when we actually looked pretty bloody good. A good coach would have had us playing watchable football all year. Secondly, Harry Reed. That boy had to play. He never looked outclassed. We need to get back to our philosophy and I will happily accept a drop in league position for that.

Not sure if this already been mentioned but how about louis van- gaal as our next manager , I don't like him but it would really piss off Ronald when we finish higher than Everton again, ps first post be gentle

We seem to constantly seem to get it wrong. MP, Toby and now RK we were told were staying staying, signing etc.. Why are being told this by the board, they seem dillusional!!!!!!! Bloody annoying

Reed never said once they were signing, just talks were going well....[/QUOTE]

He implied they were signing!!!! Did he believe it himself or was it spin?

Everything was agreed and the final touches were being sorted with lawyers. Then Everton came back in with a huge offer, it was unfortunate but the board are right to not compete with the offer.

What happened to the give reputation button thingy. This new guy has been saved from a lot of negatives. lol

As for Van Gaal...........erm nah. despite the Koeman annoyance, Van Gaal would be even more defensive although to be fair to him he does seem to like getting the youngsters into the team.

I would say it's all going to plan. If you sign a manager for 3 years who says he will only fulfill his contract then he will work his bollocks off for 2 years and coast the last one. So you plan to replace him after 2 years. Put up a bit of a fight after 2 years, make it look like he's the bees knees, bank 5 million. I expect his replacement has been sorted for at least a year - and it won't be anyone on that list above!
