If he does go, after saying he'd be here for the last year at the very least, does he become a lovren?
please log in to view this image It does I'll have to save it somewhere to use throughout the Euros...
I don't think Ron will sign an extension, he's obviously looking to bigger things in the future and with another successful season he'll have plenty of suitors. Why would he tie himself into a contract with us for any longer?
Paddy Power giving odds of 25/1 for Ryan Giggs to be our next manager. Blimey I hope when the time comes we can do better than that!
If he goes (still don't think he will) then he goes with my best wishes. He moves on, we will move on, and things will be ok. We are meltdown experts remember.
If he goes to Everton I would imagine it's because he has told the board of his intentions and won't sign a new deal. I personally don't see why he would move with European football next season etc, but the board may make a move if he's not extending his deal.
Sorry but imho I think he's gone. Way to much smoke without fire. Will be really disappointed, but there are plenty of decent managers out there. Just wish Les wouldn't do those bloody interviews, as this usually leads to massive disappointments.
If I was in the uk right now I would be down the bookies putting a wedge on Emery at 6/1.... Ching ching
I'll be disappointed if he goes, but definitely won't be having a meltdown. Season ticket ready to cheer on whoever the manager will be in August.
Weirdly, I'm less concerned about him leaving than I am about the message that sends regarding our ambitions if he does leave (to Everton that is). Mind you, I don't think he is at all.
So in the space of one or two pages of this thread we have Ronald secure in his job, and looking to sign an extension, to Ryan Giggs becoming the new Saints manager. Get a grip people. <shakes head smiley>
