Leeds United has a special place in my heart. Ever since I retired I have been considering ways to get involved at the Club – working at Board level with an equity interest would be the pinnacle. I would not have become involved if I didn’t think our consortium would be able to help give the Club a chance to go back up to the Premier League where it belongs, and to keep it there.

I am hopeful we can find a way forward and make progress.

Play on words, or be vague enough to wriggle out from under when it's bollocks. Depends on if you are a convert or a doubter. Why would a supporters trust want to hide behind interpretations and weasel words if they are the real deal? The answer: because they arnt and are only pretending to have some clout they don't have.
 
GFH are and always have been very particular about wordings. They said no takeover was on the table, Radebe has said that his consortium are interested in working with GFH to get the club back where they belong. So what GFH said is correct, no takeover is on the cards but they are looking for investments (which is what this seems like on the face of it).

I'll be honest with you though, with all of the recent dramas around Leeds United and the boardroom I am losing a lot of interest in that side of the club. I mainly just watch the football now and don't pay too much attention to the rest unless it is actually announced. There is always way too much speculation which most of the time is started more out of hope than evidence.

Well said Josh. I used to spend as much time as anyone following takeover dramas but after last protracted load of nonsense, never again for me. I support Leeds United, not Gfh, lust, bates or radebe consortium

whatever is posted on whatever forum mate that is a complete lie, not the first and wont be the last, my ST is N12 row f seat 176, ive not been in bremner suite for about 5 years.

when i came to the chair in 2009 membership stood at 224, today its 9188, were now in a position to offer our members and all #LUFC fans the chace to buy a stake in the future of their club amongst many other projects we have and are working on, i am pretty proud of the momentum we built mate :)

LUST need to stop meddling and attempting to introduce Micky Mouse investors, GFH are more than capable of doing that themselves. In my opinion there really is no need for LUST anymore, we have the supporters club already in LUSC.
LUST should be thanked for their part in ridding us of Bates, but they've served their purpose now, there's no more for them to do.

For me LUST always was a bag of ****e but with GC anywhere near it, with the exception of his civil partner WJ and the self righteous brother the rest of you must be coming to the same conclusion?

For all I take the mick out of WJ I do feel some sympathy for him. In theory lust was and is a good idea. The problem is that it has been hijacked by a shyster.

dont sit figuring it out mate, bring your opinions and your personal abuse to the next public meeting, i am not offering abuse to anyone nor am i making threats, i am giving you the opportunity you seem to crave, the chance to tell me what you think in person Leeds fan to Leeds fan, you have a lot to say about me from a long way away anonymously so i am offering you a real chance to make your feelings know, broadcast to thousands, put me in my place mate and enjoy a fine buffet at the same time, thats gotta tempt you ;-)

Today I have written to smiley and David requesting that they cease having dialogue with LUST while GC is involved. I have cited a number of instances where blobby has published inaccurate and potentially damaging information about Leeds United, GFH and other potential investors. I would suggest others follow suit. In short a simple LUST not in my name letter is all that is required.

Got to agree Gary the half a dozen anti lust warriors on here actually believe they can get Lust disbanded and that the majority of supporters agree with them. <laugh><laugh><laugh><laugh><laugh><laugh><laugh><laugh><laugh>
