And the bloke with three chins on Calendar last Friday saying Radebe is involved in a takeover of LUFC was only pretending to be Gary Cooper?

We've been over this ground before & you've ignored it, so no point in going into the detail again, other to mention that careful reading of the GFH press release was the order of the day if you wanted to understand what they appeared to say but actually did say by omission & close examination. I believe it's called spin these days. PR when I were 't a lad.

I didn't see Calendar, so can't comment. Suspect the wording requires scrutiny again. Lucas being involved in a takeover bid doesn't necessarily mean that the takeover offer has been presented to GFH. I can say no more than that without having the precise statements to hand.

I must state categorically, once again for your deaf ears, that I am not a LUST apologist. I question, challenge & scrutinise everything they do as much as I possibly can at public meetings, rather than spout anti LUST propoganda without justification. Basically, I come to decisions myself by asking direct questions in the right places, rather than make it up as I go along, unlike yourself. I challenge you to go to the next LUST public meeting to launch your conspiracy theories at them. Will be entertaining for us all, no doubt. Might shut you up!

I am not interested in LUST and their propagandist self promotion. As a lifelong fan and season ticket holder I am interested in seeing LUFC progress, and lust only damage that by diverting attention and causing disunity.

You are very loyal, I expect you were a golden retriever in a past life. Now please stop being Gary Coopers publicist, he don't need one. He has 8000 members (lol) and I am all on my own. Or am I?

I don't trust Cooper that much and I get the FEELING he's after a place on the board.

There won't be a owner/investor lined up. The fact the said people won't to remain anonymous smells a bit fishy. I've got to take GFH on face value when they say there is no take over.

LUST have said what fans want to hear then had to back peddle on a few thing. We've contacted the buyers, then We've contacted the a rep, then no we've not spoken to them. What did they do during the Take over.

This isn't propaganda this is the truth

We could even invite the other Harrogate lad, Sheldon, who no doubt would come up with an altogether uniqe & contentious set of views! <whistle>

I think Sheldon isn't talking to me. Besides which he is a plastic and doesn't go to games.

I know we are never going to agree on this one, so probably a subject best avoided. But hopefully a few beers before a game late this season is on the agenda for the regs here. I arnt proud, I will happily drink with LUSTs version of Goebells. ;)

What annoys me is the underhanded, unprofessional way LUST operate ... always quick on the draw ... if they are involved in a takeover bid why announce it ... shut up and treat GFH with respect by showing integrity and keeping things confidential ... no this fat fcuk (and he is fcuking massively overweight the lazy cnut) always shoots his massive lip off anytime there is something remotely happening ... if I were GFH I'd tell him to fcuk off because he can't keep his mouth shut ... all pr because he wants to be important ... does anyone on here really want this fool representing our club and having a vote? FFS!!!

And who else would tell you there's the possibility of a takeover? GFH? Transparency? Don't make me laugh. They're as transparent as a brick shythouse.

I don't want transparency. I don't even want another disruptive take over. I want a winning entertaining football team. In an ideal world I would prefer Leeds based people to be in charge. Hull people already have a football club to buy, they should fook off and buy Hull Tigers instead. Dubai people should stick to bribing FIFA and racing camels. Sadly we are not in an ideal world.
 
Jock ... please don't twist my words ... I said don't expect transparency from LUST because their track record is flipping poor in terms of the truth ... also it is in poor taste to reveal your hand if making a bid as the only intention can be to undermine the other party, damn unethical!!

Don't know why I was brought into this by the mighty Whitejock and G(f)H.

My opinion, for what it's worth:

1) "No serious approach has been made by any members reportedly concerned." Direct quote from BBC in relation to a bid from a consortium led by Pearson including Radebe. If the £7m is to be believed as the offer for a majority share, no wonder they said it was not "serious". But it does prove (to me) that there has been some ongoing talks.

2) I don't want LUST on the board. To me, their role is as a questioner and supporter's organisation. They did well in the long run in helping to get rid of Bates. You can claim all you like about whether you like them or not, whether you think they are irrelevant or not, but they are still around and represent a number of supporters.

3) Overall, I like what GFH are doing, slow and sure, sort out the backroom and the infrastructure, and allow the manager to slowly develop a long-term strategy for the playing side as a whole. I am not keen on a supporter's group rocking that boat, whihc is why I like that they have kept their mouths shut over supposed shenanigans during the protracted and annoying takeover.

I don't care about Gary Cooper's size, eating or drinking habits, his brother, his sexual inclinations, or whether he can reach his arse to wipe it. Stcik to chairing a supporter's group, Gary, I can't see you bringing any value to the LUFC Board.
