We've been over this ground before & you've ignored it, so no point in going into the detail again, other to mention that careful reading of the GFH press release was the order of the day if you wanted to understand what they appeared to say but actually did say by omission & close examination. I believe it's called spin these days. PR when I were 't a lad. I didn't see Calendar, so can't comment. Suspect the wording requires scrutiny again. Lucas being involved in a takeover bid doesn't necessarily mean that the takeover offer has been presented to GFH. I can say no more than that without having the precise statements to hand. I must state categorically, once again for your deaf ears, that I am not a LUST apologist. I question, challenge & scrutinise everything they do as much as I possibly can at public meetings, rather than spout anti LUST propoganda without justification. Basically, I come to decisions myself by asking direct questions in the right places, rather than make it up as I go along, unlike yourself. I am not interested in LUST and their propagandist self promotion. As a lifelong fan and season ticket holder I am interested in seeing LUFC progress, and lust only damage that by diverting attention and causing disunity. Glory I agree with ya mate I don't trust Cooper that much and I get the FEELING he's after a place on the board. There won't be a owner/investor lined up. The fact the said people won't to remain anonymous smells a bit fishy. I've got to take GFH on face value when they say there is no take over. LUST have said what fans want to hear then had to back peddle on a few thing. We've contacted the buyers, then We've contacted the a rep, then no we've not spoken to them. I don't want transparency. I don't even want another disruptive take over. I want a winning entertaining football team. In an ideal world I would prefer Leeds based people to be in charge. Hull people already have a football club to buy, they should fook off and buy Hull Tigers instead. Dubai people should stick to bribing FIFA and racing camels. Sadly we are not in an ideal world.

Don't know why I was brought into this by the mighty Whitejock and G(f)H. My opinion, for what it's worth: 1) "No serious approach has been made by any members reportedly concerned." Direct quote from BBC in relation to a bid from a consortium led by Pearson including Radebe. If the £7m is to be believed as the offer for a majority share, no wonder they said it was not "serious". But it does prove (to me) that there has been some ongoing talks. 2) I don't want LUST on the board. To me, their role is as a questioner and supporter's organisation. They did well in the long run in helping to get rid of Bates. You can claim all you like about whether you like them or not, whether you think they are irrelevant or not, but they are still around and represent a number of supporters. 3) Overall, I like what GFH are doing, slow and sure, sort out the backroom and the infrastructure, and allow the manager to slowly develop a long-term strategy for the playing side as a whole. I am not keen on a supporter's group rocking that boat, whihc is why I like that they have kept their mouths shut over supposed shenanigans during the protracted and annoying takeover. I don't care about Gary Cooper's size, eating or drinking habits, his brother, his sexual inclinations, or whether he can reach his arse to wipe it. Stcik to chairing a supporter's group, Gary, I can't see you bringing any value to the LUFC Board.
