6 wins, two losses and a draw in the last 8 home games. The losses coming after having a makeshift back line like yesterday.
Gordon and Barnes should have had Young and Garner on toast.

sadly ego sometimes works against players.

We're not very good tbh...we're not ****e but not as good as 2 years ago suggested. 8th best is about where I see us and that's fine.

He was on the line in the first place so what he did worked..

Everton created the chance and what Newcastle did worked..

We can't have it both ways.

What?

It clearly didn't work cos he was offside!

What are we having both ways? There's only one way to look at it, ie it was offside and wasn't a chance.

It didn't work because it was offside and Newcastle's didn't work became it was cleared off the line..

You do understand that defenders play opposition's offside don't you ?

As opposed to the penalty chance that we had. Hmm, yes.

The conversation started with me saying take the penalty out of the equation.

Newcastle really didn't do anything and considering Everton managed 2 shots on goal with 30 % possession and Newcastle 3 shots in goal with 70% that confirms it.

Everton created an offside?

That's not a good thing you realise?

No they created the chance and Newcastle managed to play them offside.

The same as Newcastle creating a chance and the Everton player managing to be in the right place on the line.

Well if it's offside it basically didn't happen, it isn't a chance.
