You’ll be alright, you just lack a bit of cutting edge. Deeney needs to play with a strike partner imo. If he wanted a reaction after last week then he got it, despite the result. As there was nothing wrong with your effort, work rate and commitment.

 

Hopefully Sarr and Welbeck will do the trick attack wise ..

 

yes a lot of hard work and not any decent finishing..... some of delefous crosses from the right were way off.... and we actually looked more dangerous in the last 10 minutes coming through the centre.

Still look vulenrable on the counter and we played very narrow at the back giving space for their left sided players... and really it was a sfot goal from our perspective.

BUT

an improvement on last week......

Welbeck looked skillful but rusty and I look forward to what Sarr will bring....

Bit unlucky with the winner but then the guy who scored was allowed to run and shoot .

Think GD went looking for the penalty appeal .

Deeney went close but may have been offside anyway - Dawson was unfortunate and Docoure didn't go with the right foot .
