Nice to see Chico making the MOTD team of the day. Ash deserved to be in there too because the pair of them were nothing short of terrific for us today. Their understanding is growing game by game and they seem as good a pair of centre backs as any in the Premier League right now. Their displays are spreading confidence through the back four, which is making us a far tougher nut to crack than we used to be. Chico could have done his international prospects a lot of good but it wasn't the sort of game where poor Michu had a chance to shine as we had a lot of defending to do. I still ache for a hard running abrasive midfielder though. Our back five are having to work their socks off because the guys in front of them keep letting the opposition pour through. That said, everyone worked hard today, some more than others......
