He did play the ball, though. Certainly a pen for a dangerous challenge, but not sure about a red.That challenge didn't deserve double jeopardy..... it was a leg breaker...

Philipp Lahm just been interviewed. He is the tournament director. For a man who comes from Bavaria and spent his entire career at Bayern, his spoken English is really incredible. Bravo Phil.
