Such is the stupidity of this tournament that they could still qualify for the next round with just one win. But I can’t see that happening, if Ralston who can’t even get a game for Celtic in the Noddy league continues to play.
I wish this was a 32 team knockout tournament, proper jeopardy in every game and 5 games to win it. Random draw, no seeding. There are only 55 countries in UEFA, should also be able to reduce the daft qualifying system so the poor players aren’t too tired all the time.

Scotland were poor but Germany were excellent. Their attackers are as good as any in this competition. It was a poor set up from Clarke. 5 at the back and you still get pummeled. Ah well, I remember Portugal winning the competition without winning a game in normal time until the final.
Scotland looked very nervous from the start, I’d imagine they will be much better in the next couple of games. Germany’s finishing was superb, even the goal they scored for Scotland was decent.
Spain starting fast like Germany except with much better opposition. To be fair Croatia could have had at least one goal as well. Both Spain and Germany have young, fast wingers and let them play.
Upset possible here Italy, with no world class players except for their keeper, v Albania who have some seriously decent players.
I always like an underdog but have a strong attachment to Italy.
