Hiding in the bushes
In the spirit of getting completely carried away what do you think the chances are of us nicking a Europa League spot? If we do get there is it something we'd possibly regret (distracting us from staying in the Prem next year) and how do you think we'd get on?

QPR away support has been very good in the domestic leagues, how many do you think we'd take to somewhere East of Minsk?

Chances are we will be back down to earth with a bump against the Villains but at least it is better than posting a thread on "how many are going to Scuntorpe?"!!!
 
OH for fu*k's sake Grove stop talking twaddle. OI, now that we have ye, would you care to contribute further to your thread entitled "The Emperors new clothes" before you ask us to take anything you say even remotely serious from now on?
 
F*ck the Europa League, We've no chance on League position and our FA Cup record should ensure that avenue is closed as well, we'll keep praying for 40 points by Easter and coast from there...:grin:
 
christ sake i'd take 17th place as long as we stay up thats all we should look for at present.
 
Bugger me... Lets be honest our last 2 performances have been worthy of a top 10 side, but surely we cant expect this level every week till May, there will be a lull in form.

Offer me 17th and I'll take it right now.
 
Grove, keeping to the tone of the replies so far, what on earth are you spouting this crap for so early it really pisses me off, I was thinking we have a great chance of getting to the Champions league next season not that poxey Europa league thingy!! ;)
 
Don't all jump down his throat at once, there's only so much room in there!
If you read it again he does admit it's a fantasy notion and we may return to the real world after Villa!
Some may feel there are other reasons for having a go at him, but this thread doesn't warrant the kind of reaction he's getting.
 
Not sure about dinner but for luncheon I had a nice three bean salad with mint dressing and a side of kedgeree. Got to take it easy after my cousin's wedding in Ickenham last friday when i overdid the Guinness and oysters and Saturday celebrating the Wolves result.
 
If we had taken all 3 points against Newcastle ( that we did deserve ) we would be in a champions league spot LOL .:laugh:

Lets get to 40 points as quick as we can and enjoy another year in the prem , that for me would be an achievement this year.
 
The way we ahve played in the last couple of games I think 8th-12th is a real possibility. And we are also top of the fair play league apparrently. Think you get a Europa place for that ;)

Grove - I think the message from the posts above is that some fantasies are best kept private, even if they don't involve leather and semolina. All harmless fun though.....
 
For me it's 10 points every two months :-

10 Points Aug/Sept
10 Points Oct/Nov
10 Points Dec/Jan
10 Points Feb/Mar
which gives a bit of relaxation in April and no pressure at all in May !!
