Europe is possible, think it will go down to 7th personally, think the main two teams could end up being us and the mackems, though Bolton and Stoke might have something to say about that.

Bolton have played well this year and I wouldn't begrudge them getting into Europe.

Stoke do not deserve European football. Their style of play is offensive to the game itself.

Arsenal likely to win Carling so 6th will be Europa spot. If any of the top 6 then win FA cup 7th spot then becomes Europa spot too? Surely thats quite likely to happen?

If we can get 6 wins from the next 11. But that is highly unlikely.

TBH this is all great talk, but I just want to be in the prem. Top half and I will party my backside off.

We do not really have the depth to go into europe. We'd need at least another 3 Tiote's just to cope lol :D

Unless we just play Tiote and Jonas:

---------Harps--------
----------------------
---------Tiote--------
----------------Jonas

"harper kicks out to Tiote, Tiote carries out to the right, crosses to Jonas, Jonas back to Tiote, GOAL" :)

Just did that predictor thing. Here's what I got:

Man U - 79
City - 78
Arsenal - 77 with a game in hand (there must be some fixtures missing)
Chelsea - 71 with a game in hand
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spurs - 71 game in hand
Mackems - 57
Us - 55
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
L'pool - 52
Stoke - 51
Everton - 50
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Villa - 50
Bolton 48
Fulham - 41
Blackburn - 41
B'pool - 37
Wigan - 37
WBA - 36
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Brum - 35 with a game in hand
Wolver - 33
West Ham - 29

I was impartial, but I am terrible at predictions. Liverpool seemed to have a really difficult run in compared with us, Both Manchester clubs and both North London clubs. They could have a real say on the title race. Sunderland have five trick games but their run in's alright after that. We have the easiest run in, snatching seventh is a real possibility if slightly unlikely. It's something to aim for anyway, survival's going to be a cinch so it's either go for Europe or accept an early end to the season.

I think if we get no injuries/suspensions then this is possible, if unlikely, that means 20 points and all of our next 5 games are winnable...

Is that the Castrol league predictor AG?

Anyway, there are far too many variables at the moment to be contemplating European football next season. First of all, we have to rely on two of the top 6 teams winning the FA & Carling cups in order to make 7th place a qualifying league position. Secondly, we have to rely on the other teams above us to slip up and then we ourselves have to gain enough points and possibly increase our goal difference in order to finish 7th.

All of that aside, we should be looking to seal some more points in our upcoming games and firstly aim to secure survival.

That would be a hell of a turn around from being relegated smashing the championship league then getting a european spot. Has a team ever done that?

A few years back a team finished around 20th in the Chamionship (then called Division 1). They won it the next year, and in their first year in the Prem they finished an amazing 3rd. Twenty points and a pie to the person that names the team ;)
