ooh i love Stan Collymore, he talks (rather loudly) such a lot of sense! Sam Matterface is dreadful lol
not often enough. ...i'd never usually go out on a sunday night, but it was sorta beyond my control...grrrr!
I've got Italy in the F1 sweepstakes. It'd be nuts if I won there: I've predicted about 25 races in the pre-race polls they have there, and never ever backed a winning driver. At least in the Watford prediction league I got two or three correct scores in a season.
Can't see Spain giving them as much room as they had, but i can see Italy winning...i kinda hope they do...
Just puts everything into perspective Mark Graham‏@zebbiedaddy @markpougatch 60,000 in the stadium tonight - on 1/7/1916 nearly 60,000 British soldiers died on day 1 of the Somme. Lest we forget
There have been some pretty awful finals over the years, but tonight was not one of them. Well done to both teams.
Spain were very good...Italy considerably less so. I would have enjoyed it more had it been closer. The triangular passing is incredibly skilful at times but palls after a while. It felt a bit like watching a practice game. As far Lawrenson's remarks during the game, I can't see either why he's there.
Too many bad passes from both sides, straight to the opposition, behind their own players as they were moving forward into open spaces or not even hard enough to reach their own players. Couple that with the Italian predilection for rolling around in agony after losing the ball without being touched, and I start to wonder what is in store for The Vic patrons next season.
