Just done the predictor thingy and I had Germany beating France in the final.

This was of course based on the scientific knowledge of of using the data I collected about international matches between 1977 and 1996. Of course not having collected any data about international football in the last 28 years, it is possible that my findings maybe slightly outdated, especially given that I also have Gerd Muller as the tournaments top scorer ;)

I know it's the easy pick but I genuinely can't see anyone beating the French.

I'm expecting Portugal to have a decent tournament too.

Hungary are the dark horses.

England just don't have it under Southgate.

Scotland might be the worst side in the tournament.

Scotland edged a thriller against Gibraltar in their warm up game and a very flat England reserves look like beating Bosnia 1-0 to a dodgy home decision penalty.

Edit... just gone 2-0...now 3.

Ok because I'm a glutton for punishment, predictions from last 16 onwards

Germany, Switzerland, Spain Italy, England, Denmark, France, Netherlands, Belgium, Slovakia, Portugal and Czech Republic top two finishers in each of their respective groups.

Croatia, Turkey, Ukraine, and Scotland progress as the top 4 third place finishers.

Germany v Denmark
Switzerland v Italy
Spain v Ukraine
England v Turkey
Portugal v Scotland
Netherlands v Slovakia
Belgium v Croatia
France v Czech republic

Quarter Finals

Germany v Spain
Portugal v Netherlands

So on the basis that I'm stuck in the 80's and 90's put your money on Albania to win the tournament, who have just had a fine 3-0 victory over Liechtenstein :)

I got France to win tbh but football doesn't follow science.

I can remember the France sides of the 90s and 00s who were brilliant one tournament then shocking the next.

Haven't updated my dice program for the Euro's yet Este, hence why I have relied upon very outdated personal knowledge :emoticon-0100-smile

Also will need to go back into the attic and get the rule book for the 70's dice game, because I cannot remember how it rated games between international teams, but I do remember the Isle of Man winning the World Cup once, although I may have fudged the dice rolls a little to achieve that :emoticon-0105-wink:

Oh dear I've just looked to see what the score is. The frozen food team are doing well

Also no Kamara in the Finnish squad, although Coops is on the bench for Scotland.

Then again its not looking good for my tip to win the Euros either, Germany losing at home to Greece
