Was very disappointed with the way England played against France the other day, but what a performance this is against the Dutch.

Just need to beat Wales now to make the knock outs.

France v Netherlands could be tasty…
France will breeze past them 3 nil

Wonderful pass from Hampton for the first goal.

I heard it mentioned before the tournament that Wiegman favoured her over Earps because of her ability with her feet. She certainly vindicated that. It's such a useful tool if your keeper can do that when the defending team has all stepped up to press.

There seem to have been an awful lot of goals from corners at this Euros.

And on a totally separate note, what a cruel decision to give the Norwegian player a second yellow and ban her for the quarter final when VAR awarded a consolation penalty to Iceland in injury time. Really wasn't necessary, and I don't even know why it's allowed for VAR to award a retrospective yellow card in that situation.

Glad Belgium won their game when VAR seemed so determined to stop it. Two goals disallowed and a Portugal goal allowed with a very similar foul in the buildup to the one that one of Belgium's disallowed ones was for.

And totally unrelated but, I mentioned there were a lot of set piece goals at this tournament. It's also struck me that there's an incredible amount of shots hitting crossbars. I watch the highlights of every game and it seems like every game someone hits it at least once. I wonder what's making that so common.

Possibly players attempting to score by shooting high against smaller goalkeepers?
