Even sterling couldnt miss that final chance but at least he got "in" 4 times. Twice failed to even think to shoot, once an awful effort and the final one a child could score. But he made the runs which is important.

On Sterling i'm in the middle as thought he was just about the only player whose movement caused regular problems for the Croatian defence but his decision making / final ball was woeful .
He appeared totally lacking in confidence in the sense he seemed to be thinking what he should do instead of that instinctive decision .
