Carroll has been excellent so far. One almost every ball he's gone up for and tracked back and tackled, and scored!

Good signs all round.
 
Another Carroll header where the cross has come from deep. I'm telling you now, he doesn't score from whipped in crosses at the line which is why Downing / Carroll partnership hasn't worked.

Look at most of his headed goals and they have come from deep crosses. Hopefully the rest of our team can learn that is how you cross to him and start playing to his strength next season.

carrolls all round play has been good. he's won everthing in the air and been tidy on the floor.
