Surprised its been shortened to 2 games if I'm honest. He was sent off for violent conduct which is a 3 game ban, if it was a professional foul it would have been 1 game. If uefa/FIFA whichever dealt with it thought it was soft enough to shorten it, they should have just accepted an appeal and lifted or or made it a one game ban for pro foul. Who ever gets a 2 game ban? Silly situation.

i went in monday after the footie for the usually busy student night, didnt realise most had gone home, there was only about 5 people in, including 2 pensioners <laugh>

Yeah I'm hoping the France game might've re-invigorated the usual pub-going support a bit.

During the last World Cup & Euros the place was rammed, if not a bit dangerous with scraps everywhere and some poor bugger getting glassed.

We'll see
 
Portugal V Denmark best game so far. If the Dutch win tonight then that really puts things on a knife edge going into the final games of Group B!
 
2nd half is gonna be ace.

All or nowt for the Dutch. VDV & Huntelaar on for Van Bommell and some other bloke who did nowt.

They'll either make a fist of it, or get destroyed now. Should be good.
 
Why does Lawrenson laugh so much off-mic?

Does he think he can't be heard? Or is it just because he's a complete prick?

I think you answered that question yourself! Am wondering if there will be another bust-up in this game like the one between Rijkaard and Voeller all those years ago, maybe Robben will have a massive strop with his German pals

It's starting to look like the Germans are taking the piss a bit already, even though it's only 2-0. Muller just walking with the ball, for example.

If they really take the Dutch down I could see one of their players seeing red and lashing out.

Holland look defeated already. Hopefully no spitting though.

And the other bloke should just piss off back to commentating on Robot Wars.

Bloody Germans are ruining my enjoyment with their bloody efficiency. I wanted more of a closer match than this, but it's more a damp squib than a contest.

Wish i'd seen more of the Portugal v Denmark match, sounded a good'un. Thought they were unlucky against Germany in the last 15 minutes, especially hitting the bar and bouncing out.

Imagine Johan Cruyff's reaction to this :)
