Leaving the EU is obviously one of the most upsetting and heartbreaking things to happen in their lives. This has to go down as the forums biggest ever beel moment <laugh>

I have not mentioned how corrupt politicians are in Brussels or the UK, but now you mention it. They are as bad as each other.
There is no doubt that both the EU and the UK will suffer.
Latest poll in Denmark is 69% remain, Netherlands 71%.

Leaving the EU is the catalyst for the biggest period of change this country has seen since the War.

Some of us don't share the "don't worry it'll be sound....honest" mindset

I don't share this view, they could decide to leave if told they have to bail out Italian banks, are forced into further integration or see the UK come out with a generous deal.
The Dutch will always be eurosceptic but at this moment the appetite to leave isn't there and could potentially take quite some time to return

The consequences for the single currency, and the global economy would be catastrophic!...

You really are a fool, aren't you. Of course I originally come from Hull, why would I deny that? Just go on the Hull board and you will find my posts; although not so many lately, to be fair.

Why I responded as I did to your question is because it is just a continuation of your bigoted remarks about people from Hull.

You thrive on pigeon-holing folk so you can use your collective, broad brush insults.

The remark you made about your third wife was simply stunning and extremely poor, in my opinion; why any man would say that is beyond me (I have deliberately not re-posted it as it is bad taste).

The fact that you think you are a bit of an hardcase is simply amusing. :emoticon-0146-punch <nahnah>

Anyway, you've proved you are a fool, yet again; is it a mission you're on? Word of advice, just do the discussing, leave out the endless insults and bigotry and the discussion will flow a lot better. Don't bother responding as I have better things to do than trying to help you find some balance. <ok>

I didn't say he was wrong to assume that, what's wrong is how he uses his assumption. I've explained it to him, but it's okay Tobes, I don't expect you to understand. :emoticon-0105-wink:

    My dear tosspot;

I'm at the beach enjoying a very nice lunch. Unfortunately, it seems to have been interrupted by some waste of space who insists on having the the last word - even if like his preceding ones, it's puerile rubbish.

You're a ****er, mate. Pure and simple. And a thick headed one at that.

Now, kindly go **** yourself and leave me in peace!....

I think it is more probable that the EU will do what it excels at under pressure, they will rewrite rules to accommodate change.

What was that you've just said, about leaving out the insults etc and allowing the discussion to flow?

    Do as I say.....

Which is what sensible institutions have been doing since the dawn of history, and why they'll probably survive.

The EU is heavily influenced by lobby groups. The UK can negotiate with the larger EU industries, who could then lobby for changes that push the deals through. This could then cascade to other deals.

    Alrernatively, this could be bollocks.

Reality is not something you can just dream up and write on the side of a bus. What industries are you talking about? What sort of deals? Do you know how much work is involved just in drawing up the legalities of a trade deal?
