We all know that, so we will fall back onto WTO tariffs, that wil hurt the EU more than us, so should help speed things up.
But the biggest stumbling block will be freedom of movement, the UK will say no, EU will say yes, so I guess a middle ground will be the way forward.
We'll fall into the WTO tariffs for trade with every single country - 161 of them - that we've not concluded a deal with, so how will that hurt the EU more than us ffs?

And for the umpteenth time 44% > 14%

I don't see where the middle ground could possibly be on the freedom of movement principle. Any form of cap or points system of entry, goes against the basic premise.

Source please Hull AMD? I'm always wary of "quotes" out of context surrounded by someone else's narrative. I've assumed you've not written it, so I wondered who had?

I admit I don't know enough about the Werner Report but from what I've read so far it was a 3 stage plan for Economic and Monetary Union BUT his report was only a proposal. And while the ideology of economic and monetary union did go ahead, his particular proposal was never actually implemented. So linking one man's proposal to Heath compromising our sovereignty for some future federal state seems irrelevant and unproven.

They're from a variety of sources. I even tried googling to find out the views of anyone claiming it was a myth. The only counter argument I could find, were articles saying he didn't lie, he told us we'd be giving up sovereign power.

You have an enormous amount of information at your finger tips, I trust very little I read at face value, and I'm not about to start rummaging again for links or more information, as I've satisfied myself that he knowingly gave up our sovereign power.

For me, the arguments would relate to why he did it, or what individuals believe "sovereignty" means.

Australia's recent trade deal with China, took a decade to negotiate.

Therein lies the rub.

The 2 year Brexit timetable laid out by the EU is unworkable in reality. We'd see most of our trade falling into the WTO tariffs whilst the complex negotiations with 161 separate nations were still ongoing. Davis and May need to negotiate a far longer period in which to conclude the separation.
Do you ever look for the positives in life?

Oh! Out come the smilies - usual bollocks.

The vast majority of club supporters follow that club because that's where their connection is - they originate from the area - even if they don't live there anymore. Granted there is the very odd exception, like Man Utd, but it's just that, an exception. Why would you support Hull unless you have a connection to the area?

It is therefore reasonable to assume that all three of you originate from there, or thereabouts!

Just as it reasonable to assume that you are a loud mouthed, bigoted fool. You attack bigotry on one level yet your whole manner and posting style is built on bigoted insults and deranged remarks about you sorting folk (who you've never met) out and your wife doing something similar between the sheets (truely remarkable that you used that to big yourself up). You really are something else. <doh>

Problem is, he's right!

There is no way a satisfactory for all exit from the EU and agreements on trade with all WTO nations is going to be concluded in 2 years. Hopefully, a longer period will be agreed.

If we are forced to exit the EU without a satisfactory trade arrangement t, we're up **** creek - with the paddle heading for the bottom of the creek!...

WTF are you on about now? You ignorant fool.

I made an assertion that , as Hull supporters, you all probably originated from, or had strong connections to that area? I was right!,

Then, along comes some cretinous moron with a personal attack that has no foundation in fact, whatsoever! And, absolutely nothing to do with the post I made!

It's you that's the loud mouthed, bigoted, pig ignorant fool.

What's wrong with him suggesting that Hull supporters are likely to originally hail from Hull ffs?

3 of you on this thread, one who lives there, one who ****ed off to the smoke and you.

Hull is hardly the type of club to attract glory hunters so it's a fair assumption the the vast majority will have either a direct or parental link to the City.

You take offence at anything and everything.

Out of interest what EU country do we sell to the most to least
and what do the UK sell the most to

IE Germany sell u lots of cars, Romania sell us pickpockets

The 44% is now out of date, latest figures are 49%.
Bit confused by the rest as the first question is who do we sell to and the example is who we buy from.
In order our biggest trading partners in the EU are Germany, France,Ireland, Netherlands, Belgium, Spain and Italy.

These countries will probably be voting to leave the EU, when their time comes <ok>

Why is nobody talking about the reality of the EU breaking up and that we may have timed our exit, perfectly?

When will their time come?
Our leaving has shifted public opinion in European countries against leaving. In Germany it's over 80%

When their politicians call for a referendum <doh>

I have a lot of friends in the Netherlands and they are desperate to leave the EU. Denmark and The Netherlands, I'm pretty certain will vote to leave the EU.

Also the UK leaving the EU will hit the EU hard. Getting quite bored of people talking our countries capabilities down, whilst praising them ****ing corrupt arseholes in Brussels.
