Exactly. Everything went well for her. The UK voted to leave the EU and she will be appointed Prime Minister. She will get the full backing of the Conservative Party.
Meanwhile, in the Labour Party ....
How's the Sensible Party getting on Pete?

Have you been ousted as leader yet, in a brutal coup lead by the only other member i.e. your Mrs?

Employment law & H&S in this country were improved and strengthened by the EU legislation, which is the converse of what you said.

Rather depends who you talk to. H&S practitioners I know certainly say differently and some suggest that the changes would have been stronger if they'd been written just for the uk, rather than a version to accommodate the EU.

If you look at the history, you could also see that it wasn't the labour good, tories bad argument some seem to be proposing.

I wonder if Boris Johnson is regretting leaving Cameron's side following his return from the renegotiation efforts at the EU. Had he stayed in the Remain camp he would've been the next PM whichever way the result went.

Deaths in the workplace have fallen from 1.5 per 100K to 0.46 since '92, and during that period 2/3rd of the legislation came from the EU.

You're trying to argue black is white again.

Prominent? She was deliberately low profile.

<doh> ... she's the Home Secretary ffs ... and publicly supported the Prime Ministers stance on Brexit ... after Cameron, Osbourne and the circus act that is Boris Johnson she is the most prominent and widely known Conservative figure ... there can't be a tory voter in the country who is not aware that she was firmly in the Remain camp ...

And that legislation is liable to have come about anyway, and could possibly have been stronger if it was written for the UK only.

You're missing how these things come about. In your version, it's the dictatorial EU that decide, which is not the reality.

He didnt have sufficient support of the MPs

Oh aye, she was never off the telly with her campaign was she.

Prominent campaigner my arse.

the conservative party had a leader and prime minister who got it wrong so he did the sensible and honourable thing and resigned
the labour party has a leader who is clinging to power despite 80% of it's MPs thinking he is useless
The tory party have a pro EU leader...to lead us out of the EU...now that's ****ed up

Which is complete supposition based on **** all but your imagination.

The facts are that EU lead H&S legislation has made for safer working environments in this country, and helped reduce deaths in the workplace by 2/3rds in the last 24 years.

That is really embarrassing. It's as if you werent aware of what went on during the referendum campaign. Maybe you have just forgotten.

Of course, and stamping your foot really makes your argument more convincing. :emoticon-0136-giggl

It's not supposition, it's based on conversations with people in that area of work.
