Custard will ask you to post the correct number of words in the cabbage regulations.

He hoovers up and regurgitates the propaganda, the even worse informed then like it!

The BOE are independent. They were given that by Blair's labour Gvt. What Carney is expressing is his belief that we are better off in the EU.

Good post. But you need to consider one important thing. It's easy for one side (who has NO track record) to attack the other without being subject to the same scutiny. Which is EXACTLY what the Brexiteers are campaigning on. And I urge you (and all undecideds) not to fall for it please. At least please scrutinise them.

Let me explain. In any normal election, Labour say vote for us we can fix the economy. Tories at least can comeback and say "well look at what happened to economy under labour", then labour come back and attack Tory record. The voters pay their money and takes their choice.

But in this debate we have this...

Brexiteer claims we lose millions to EU, lets take back control of our money and put that money into NHS. The Remain camp CANNOT turn around and say "well look at what happened to those millions when the Brexiteers took us out of the EU last time"

So what can the Remain camp honestly do? All they can do is point to their figures and predictions and say "No, look we will lose many more millions if we leave". And then as a result, get accused of scaremongering when they honestly are giving the best (and only) answer they can.

When you have the luxury of not having to defend yourself, you can make up anything and sugar coat the alternative. The guy standing opposite is caught between a rock and a hard place. On the one hand he's being unfairly pummelled and at the same time whatever he responds with to his accusers, there's no way to scrutinise them.

You want a great example of that, just read any one of the many Custard posts.

I'm not trying to convince you one way or the other, but I want you to understand that the debate is far from a fair one when one side has a track record to sling mud at, and the other side can say anything it likes about the alternative and no matter how fairytale it might be there's no way of scrutinising it.

    @pieguts

This is typical of the ****e I'm talking about. It's easy to critique the stuff on the left... and then make up any rose tinted stuff on the right. Bcos there's no way of disproving it. And if you do (bcos much of it is ridiculous pie in the sky stuff) you get accused of scaremongering!

This debate is built around an illusion that can't be dispelled. And there are many of the mindless masses who are falling for it bcos they can only see one side without realising they can't pull apart the other!

Summed up by Farage's comment when asked what he thought about the GBP falling after Brexit - "So what?".

He doesn't give a **** about what Brexit means to the country or the people, he is just a little Englander who wants all foreigners out of his country ASAP.

The Leave campaign have absolutely no plan in place at all. Even if they did they couldn't implement it as they are not in government.

    From The Independent:

"Just 17 per cent of voters believe George Osborne’s key claim that households will be £4,300 worse off after Brexit, while 47 per cent accept Vote Leave’s statement that Britain pays £350 million to the EU every week.

That fact comes despite almost all economists and economic organisations backing the Treasury’s claim and deriding Vote Leave’s as misleading."

Don't let the facts get in the way of a knee jerk opinion!

These are the People believe who what they want to believe, Stan. See what they want to see. These are the same people who are so simple that they think that if we leave Europe, get rid of the Tories, etc, all their problems will be solved at a single swoop.

Welcome to the world, maybe if the Stronger in stopped scaring people and just issued true honest facts, they would have more voters, but its mostly scare stories and getting other world leaders to tell us to stay in (which the British public will not accept in any way)

As Trebs has pointed out, it's easy for the leave camp to chuck all kinds of "facts" around.

As for trying to scare voters! You have to be joking? Try dropping the crap about £350mill p.w. If you really want to stop trying to scare people with lies!...

All the leave camp has to offer as our prospective future is guess work and 'trust me' And when it all blows up in their faces, that'll be the EU's fault too!...

The economists agree with him. So all the people who spend their days analysing and assessing the data are wrong but the ill informed Farage who just makes stuff up is right? OK.

Now I'm no expert but I would say that, with his experiences of working in Brussels, Farage knows a hell of a lot more than you.

Tories are in Government and you can guarantee the PM and Giddion will be kicked out soon after, so you can expect a anti EU PM

But the outers are better at it, politics is all about bullshit, both sides are doing it. But the worst thing an Inner can say is Little Englanders, thats the most stupid thing you can say and that alown pulls people to want out.
