The only thing i dislike about this forum, is some people think they are bigger than the rest. Some with several posts do not merit any different recognition to someone with a handful!

This individuals are the same that offend others when someone doesnt spot that a specific topic has been previously mentioned, simply because they dont live on the site and scroll through pages and pages

I personally think all sites should have post counts disabled. Obviously the amount of times you've tapped away at a keyboard on a forum should make no difference to what weight you opinion has!

As an infrequent poster (Sharpshooter you've got me tapping away like a lunatic now) I have to say I don't get the feeling that opinions matter if posted by people like, e.g., Godders or Fran to name but two regulars. Obviously, the regular posters have developed their own codes and that is evident (like lapsing into French for not always apparent reasons!) but as an occasional poster I have noticed that my posts get the response they merit -i.e. if I have made a point or posed a question I get a response from the big boys and girls on here. Basically I am a reader of this board and enjoy the way threads meander off. I cringe at the personal remarks and actually think this aspect of the board has improved dramatically.

I don't understand the French lapses either But yeah you'll find that - serious and reasoned responses, be it from someone with thousands of posts or you with 20, will get serious and reasoned responses back.

Don't be taken in by that for Google Translator can be a really handy tool but also don't forget people travel more and the population of Southampton is cosmopolitan.
