Rugby - lost
Football - lost
Cricket - currently doing their very best to chuck it away!

Going well, as they say

Nick

I did not see the rugby but it looks as if that was a close match even if the last score by us was at the death.

The football was sickening as Woy just did not resolve the issues down the left until it was too late. For him to spout that 'we did much better down the left in the second half' was pure folly. How did we concede the second goal??

Of the cricket England are doing their best to make it a nerve tangling last day, we are 289 ahead. I feel that we must get another 50 runs to be comfortable.

Very harsh this, we had a real go yesterday and it was the best ive seen us play for a long time

I think Tent is getting at the tactics rather than the players mate.

Ricc,

I did not mean to be harsh. Yes England played well but Woy did not react to dangers occurring down the left. Rooney did not cover adequately and left Baines exposed.

I agree we did have a go yesterday and I honestly thought the effort in the 3rd minute was in from Sterling. However we did not quite manage to convert chances we had into goals. The chance Rooney had was gilt edged and he really needed to hit the target and make the keeper work. Also when Rooney took the ball off Barclay? he should of let him to slide onto Sterling. Only my view of course.

I do not think it is all over as yet but think Uruguay can not play as badly again!

Best wishes

What on earth is a sweaty?

Serious question...oh hang on; sweaty = sock = jock.

Born in Glasgow JM, left when I was 5!!
Zero trace of any accent - yes it is a beautiful country.

Where you in Lossie ??

Lovely parts of bonny Scotland.
Good old days, or those you can remember eh !

Brilliant days, fantastic views and warm welcomes got to see a lot of the country, the road from Glasgow round to Mac is a particular favourite drive.

Indeed it is JM.
The west coast of Scotland is truly spectacular, and one of my favourite spots in the world.

The only people that belittle Scotland and it's people have never been there.
