Usually the type of blokes who end up getting their mouths shut for them because they think their tattoos make them hard as nails.

Newcastle fans have a habit of doing the top off thing, to show how great they are at dealing with extreme temperatures. I bet they all go home after their team gets beat and end up sniffling and asking their poor wives to make them pasties and Lemsip.

That's the go-to picture but they seem to do it at every match played at sub-zero temperatures for some reason.

They're victims of the current media driven culture mate and, as a proud NE fella, I find it a little sad.

Each area has a sad underclass who ludicrously act up to the stereotype the media has chosen to highlight.

'Geordies' were dealt the 'party loving-larger than life-anything for a laugh-hard as nails' card so act up to that to a ridiculous degree.

'Scousers' got the 'passionate- hilariously witty-cheeky little scally' card.

'Cockneys' have the 'Ray Winstone-over pronouncing-big city-wide boy-know all' card.

'Mancs', as you know, get the 'stupid walk-exaggerated talk-everyone's a gangster' shyte.

    Etc, etc, etc ..........

SO... Do you think Kevin Phillips wasn't good enough for England? If that's the case you should pop back to your newcastle board.

Was Adam Johnson not in the best form of his career last season in December, January, February? Yes he was. Andros Townsend was playing ok but doing little more and he got picked ahead of AJ. You basically can't answer these which is what the comment above tells me. Yes, when it comes to Sunderland players, I do know better than England managers. Mainly because I watch Sunderland players. England managers, regardless of form, never come to sunderland.

I'm sure I remember something about Philips not fitting into the England cliques coz he wasn't a drinker or card player.

His dropping from the squad was nothing to do with football.

I don't know how much credence there is to that though.

You are the kid who is never away from the mags board, I'll try and put it a easy way? it's very rare you get picked if your struggling in a relegation team. And sunderland have struggled the 40 years of me supporting them.

Who are you by the way? I don't know the name (have you changed it?) but you come across as an arrogant clueless prick to me.

I post rarely on the mags board and mostly not about football but I have some mates over there.

We weren't struggling with Phillips in the side in 2 seasons when we finished 7th. Or did you forget about them? It shouldn't matter whether a team is struggling. If one player stands out he deserves a shot. If it doesn't work then so be it but you should at least try. Sturridge was in Roy's squad regardless of form. Andros Townsend is terrible. Had to be hooked at half time against Man Utd as he was schooled by a makeshift right back but he's in the squad. You telling me You think Hodgson was right about that? If so then you truly know nothing about football

The fact that you avoided every question I asked in the last post tells me you agree ut are not willing to admit it as you'd have to admit you were wrong
