It's a great book. Not a bad film either.

But the book is definitely better.

The whole album has a clear, crisp sound, and a new sheen of consummate professionalism that really gives the songs a big boost. He's been compared to Elvis Costello, but I think Huey has a far more bitter, cynical sense of humour.

As good as Sports was though, Fore is their most accomplished album. I think their undisputed masterpiece is "Hip to be Square", a song so catchy, most people probably don't listen to the lyrics. But they should, because it's not just about the pleasures of conformity, and the importance of trends, it's also a personal statement about the band itself.

Just imagine he's playing Bruce Wayne, it suddenly makes the Dark Knight trilogy seem a helluva lot darker.

    In places it's comedy genius.

The bit where Bateman returns some video tapes and has to know what shoes the shop worker is wearing.

Granted it doesn't sound that funny.

    But it is.

    It really is.

Is it a surprise with Hodgson as manager? He's a footballing dinosaur and should never have been given the job in the first place.

Any football fan would play Sterling ahead of Welbeck and wouldn't put Smalling anywhere near a football pitch, I just don't understand how Roy sees things differently

I like Welbeck, he's a clever player. I'd put Oxlade Chamberlain in ahead of him if it was down to me, but I'd keep Sterling to come off the bench.

I went and despite it being a very ordinary game, it was about the noisiest I've ever heard Wembley, I've no idea why, but the noise was amazing.

Particularly surprising, as the place seemed to be full of tourists who want little idea what was going on and a great deal of the match was taken up doing Mexican waves and cheering paper aeroplanes.

I thought Lallana was MotM, Sturridge's goal was brilliant and DotM was Smalling. We looked much better when Sterling came on, Rooney was a little out of sorts and Johnson is a massive worry, he could easily have given away two goals last night.

Patty, there's no age limit on playing for your country, you divvy bastard.

This game showed just why England have No Chance in Brazil.

DQPR would have given England a better game last night than Peru.
