I genuinely didn't know of 3 of the starting 11 last night (only looked on an app after the match to see what the score and line up).
And I thought Gavin Whyte was Welsh anyway?

Playing teams who aren't in the competition was an invitation for a broken leg. Which idiot in the FA dreamed up the schedule?
 
what is it with grealish?
to most he is almost on a par with gascoine or de bruyne and his stats on whoscored back that up. the pundits love him. yet there are a lot who say he is over rated. im one of them but in the face of all the media clamour i realise must be wrong about him.

i heard keane and dixon gushing over him last night and then watched the 4 or 5 highlights of his play result in zero passes to a team mate after a darting run.

there i go again.
ive seen him play brilliant against liverpool but honeyman would have looked world class due to their non existent defending.

my son and son in law think he is brilliant.

so why do a lot think he is over rated and put de bruyne and foden miles ahead of him?

Maybe, just like me, you think he’s a bit of a ****? And it colours our judgement of him as a footballer

I think that's more or less spot on Chazz.

For what it's worth I'm not a huge fan of him on a personality basis BUT I'd build the team around him as he really is a fantastic footballer and gives his all in an England shirt.
 
First name on the team sheet for me, he's one of those players that can do something out of nothing and we've missed players like him. Doesn't matter if you like him or not when he's in an England shirt everyone should get behind him, he's a cracking player.
