Read his name for the first time yesterday – still don’t know much about him.
Newsnight and controversy – I was initially mildly interested.
But, further on I read that his actions were supported by the bullet deserving Katie Hopkins.
But the real nail in coffin was that it said his show was on ITV2.
Ridiculous that Newsnight got involved - trying to pander to the Twitterati to gain viewers, but killing off any credibility as a news programme as a result.
Get yourself a punch bag. Much cheaper in the long run but I 100% agree over Smalling. Another one who should be nowhere near an England squad.
On form the back 4 should be IMO :- Clyne - Cahill - Jagielka - Baines.
It was Paxman who quit Newsnight. He had had enough.
I've never rated Downing very highly - but all many of us want from Hodgson is for him to pick in-form players rather than struggling or unfit big-club players, and Downing is one of those in-form players.
He's earned his squad place, just like Berahino and Clyne.

Watching the U19 on BT tonight in Rotherham, they really look a talented set of lads, beating Italy 2-0 at half time, and Izzy Brown of Chelsea looks some player.
I hate British bulldog, i was really good at it at school,so some of the rugby league types had a word with the coach and i was picked for the team. We won everything and i played at Craven park. This might sound good,but for the fact i didn't want to play ****ing rugby.
