Coming from the deluded scouser singing Milner's praises <laugh>

To be fair on Bow - Milner is up their with the best in Europe for assists this year. So people may think he's '****' and 'boring' but you can bet your bottom dollar that Roy is counting on him as one of the experienced players in the team.

He'll start for sure imo.

... then the opposition keepers won't want for catching practice <laugh>... one of the worst dead ball takers I have ever witnessed ...he will also try to play everything to Rooney if the two are in the same team, irrespective of better options on ...

... we need to be brave and unpredictable ... Milner has been to many tournaments and has been largely anonymous .. starting him, IMHO, would show that we have no real ambition in the tournament ... play the Spurs and Leicester lads and go for it ...

We're talking about steady Roy here. Milner will start.

Have you seen how many Liverpol players are going? I doubt any Leicester player will start. Purely because I see Roy picking Kane and Rooney and bringing Vardy on as an impact pace sub.

- A little worried about the Spurs players. They were on cloud nine not long ago but have taken a massive whack. We need their guys to perform. Hopefully they can.
No need to worry. Will be fresh after their holiday over the last few weeks.

This is where that old addage "you can only beat what's in front of you" comes in. Or in this case "you can only assist against what's in front of you". But what will be in front of him at the Euros will turn him inside out chasing the ball.

Remember how much everyone was waxing lyrical about Gareth Barry before he had his arse handed to him by the German youth team? Cant believe we have such short memories and get kidded by our domestic game.

I'm not disputing we'll get spanked at Euro 2016.

All I'm saying is everything points towards Milner being a nailed on starter. On PL form considering our squad he's deserved to be in the first 11 too.

I'd rather have Messi or Suarez (Euro versions). But we're stuck with Milner and Rooney et al.!!

out of his league again last night milner looked awful . even the left back was taking him on and beating him ..it should be the other way round .

This Euros tournament will show just how **** the PL is. With the exception of Alli, Kane and possibly Bertrand the rest are simply not at the level to compete at the highest level. Players like Drinkwater and Vardy performing in a piss poor league are going to be out of their depth against the best in Europe. We really are kidding ourselves.

... Vardy and Drinkwater have been taking the piss out of some of Europe's so called best all season ... and unless I've imagined it .. didn't Vardy just score in consecutive games against the Germans and Holland ...OK it'ts not San Marino like Wayne ... perhaps we'll get them in the knockout phase :)

I didn't pick them because they play for Leicester lol. They just happen to be two who stand out in particular, I said they will all be out of their depth except the two or three I named. And the 3 players who I said would cut the mustard, two are tottenham and one Southampton. Don't see how I'm showing any club loyalty. I think you two need to stop taking it personally.

...reality ... every defender at the Euros will be troubled by Vardy's pace ... in contrast, the only thing about Rooney that may trouble them is his breath ..:)

Feel totally vindicated. As always <laugh> Told ya Fosse, out of their depth. Granted Kane didn't live up to my expectations, but he looks tired and I expect him to have a promising future for club and country. The rest though show why the prem flatters to deceive the technical ability of English players. Nowt to do with Leicester either. Include Vardy or Rooney in that if you like.

shocking .. the manager god letting kane take free kicks ....he should of gave glen hoddle his boots he would of done a better job ..

... you feel totally vindicated? ... didn't you write "with the exception of Alli and Kane and possibly Bertand.." ? ..vindicated? Kane was by far the biggest English flop and the other 2 hardly set the tournament alight.. well done Motty :)

Like I said before this all started, the tournament should have been used to give young players experience so that they entered the World Cup with confidence.
Now in the World Cup players like Barkley and Stones will be playing in their first competition but will be expected to handle it.

England also need to sort the system out, wing backs pushing on relentlessly is old hat, it leaves room in behind and a striker who can work the channels will start to drag the centre backs about, last night was a perfect example. Defenders have to be able to defend.
