Why the hell is Smalling playing over Richards?

Despite bing a Liverpool fan, I used to have the same thoughts on Downing, but he has started the season well and impressed me. I think Adam Johnson is better, but he won't ever play for England while he sits on the city bench game after game.

Probably because Smalling has been outstanding for Man Utd in the league. Typical England attitude, 3-0 up but there still has to be questions asked about the team selection SUPPORT your nation!!
