I'm not sure I'd fancy doing 155 mph on any scooter, there was a 58 year bloke who once set a Lambretta speed record of 132 mph on a street in Southend.

No idea, but I just had a look at what the scooter was like(it's a fairly standard stripped down Lambretta with a re-bore) and I noticed that though he's from Southend, he actually set the record round here. It was at Elvington Airfield, Pocklington, where Hammond had his crash.
