It could be worse, we could be Scouse, eating rats in our council house.

Will the travelling supporters get their money back, I hope so. I remember WHU away 8-0 all them years ago and here we go again, humiliating, shocking, pathetic we need a change at the top and right through the club next week.

Top 4 clubs have put the same past each other before. The margins at this level are tight. If you're off your game and the opposition is top of theirs then **** like this happens! Onwards and upwards!

Exactly right ..... these things come along now & again. I'm watching the Newcastle stream and hoping Lesta rescue the weekend.

Problem was Southampton apparently weren't on top of their game or didn't need to be! More worrying we didn't have an off day we gave up which is unforgivable. Personally I don't believe there is a gulf in class between these two clubs as the result would suggest but what the result does say is that we have to look at how we didn't have enough character to fight and show a little passion/pride. Let's hope this will be a kick in the ass we need and a realisation we need to invest in strengthening the defence come Jan.

The main point now is how the management and team respond performance wise, that will be more of a measure than a 1 off mauling

It was poor how your team responded, BUT you should have been 2-1 down playing against 10 men after Forsters's foul.

So you're going to celebrate Sunderland being beaten by one of, potentially, your biggest rivals this season... Bravo
