no, its not bitterness, wer just taking enjoyment that all of your proclamations of walking the league and being too much of a big club for L2 have been exposed as b*****ks!!!
all of the rants about you beating in us in the playoffs: (which is always bought up bu CJS and chris etc) we dont care about that anymore, we all had a good day out that day, new wembley, exciting new ground to visit.
just like our away day at arsenal this season, we lost but at least we got to do it. lovely time in north london for the fans, great atmosphere singing all game behind the goal.

but at wembley, yes you beat us, you were the better team, but then you had ricky lambert then, wheres he gone now? TO A BIG CLUB, TO A DECENT CLUB!!! youve not even half a lambert this time chumps, so once again, good luck in this league, cos as i said at the beginning of the season youre really gonna need it!!

UGBA - I ain't got any problems with you coming on here and having a "pop" at us - in fact I think it's all good fun - as long as it's done in moderation, what I do object to tho is your guys hi-jacking every post that comes on here about Bristol Rovers - after all this is the Bristol Rovers forum. Now I've never been on your pages and don't intend to, and from what I read several of our fans have been there and stirred things up a little - hopefully all in good taste etc, and like I said, I have no qualms about reciprocation, but when we have a thread about ... say one of our players, all I get to read about is Shrewsbury. CJS has, as a moderator suggested a Gas/Shrews banter page, like the one we have with the dread side of Bristol and think this would satisfy mosts peeps on here and over there.
Well played at our place by the way - I thought you were the much better side, and MW was the best player on the pitch .... what was the score again??

uncle, we havent started anything. aj started the banter during pre-season. a few of us replied back. and its been going on ever since. but for the last few weeks, every thread has been hijacked. end of the day this is the rovers board for rovers fans and if anyone else comes on the board then they are guest. there is no issues with people commenting/banter on our board. i for 1 enjoy this. however there is no need to put your banter on every single thread. especially the same stuff on every thread. again i for one havent had a problem until now. as a mod, a gashead has approached me about this. as this is the rovers board, gasheads come 1st and the issue now is being dealt with. if threads continue to be hijacked by banter from the shrews fans then comments will just be deleted and if that continues then i will request those to be banned from our board. simples. however i dont really want anyone to be banned. im happy for a thread to be made for banter and comments from your fans if your so very desperate to be on our board. thats a win win situation. your get to have you banter without the need for our threads to be hijacked. those who wants banter can post. those who dont can simply ignore the thread.

i personally will be joining in the banter now and then. i never said i wouldnt. i certainly aint running away from banter. but most of the time i will be sharing with fellow gasheads the issues at our club and as you can see there are plenty. having a seperate thread for banter makes sense for everyone.
