Who thinks Eliot Richards should be a regular in the first team? I think he looked a class act the few times he has been given a chance and he was a prolific goalscorer for the reserves. Given that most of our strikers can't seem to hit a barn door in open play I think young Eliot should be given a good run in the first team. Knowing our luck he'll be so prolific that we'll have to sell him in January, but it must be worth the risk! If he's good enough, he's old enough... Up The Gas!
Yes, he has smashed the bar a couple of times as well as scored a good goal against the O's and has had some good games in a gas shirt. I say start him for a couple of weeks. Im sure he would do the business as well as any other striker we have
Don't know yet about a regular, but he certainly deserves to start. He's now been around for long enough to think that if he doesn't get a chance with McGleish out then he's going to become another Mahdi, Groves etc. Give the lad a go.....................

We have a player called Mark Wright, a winger who keeps scoring goals. Something Harrold sadly does not, for all his hard work.
well done. you managed to get the best out of him in league 2. obviously he found his level as he was utter ****e in league 1 jacobson i did like before he had a bad injury. was necer the same when he returned, again he has found his level in league 2 as league 1 was too much to handle.
oh and by the way, i wouldnt call wright a 'player'. i would call him something else which starts with a W and ends in a ER and rhymes with 'banker'

AJ - to be honest mate, it's wearing pretty thin! We are she ite at the moment - we KNOW it! But every time I come on here to read about Rovers stuff all I get is some sort of ramblings from some bloke who helped build the gas works at Eastville .... or what ever your claim is. Now I'm all for a bit of banter etc, but I think you have got more posts on here than many of us TRUE gas heads ... so please, stop smoking the funny stuff, start taking the pills the Doctor subscribed for you and go comment on your own board!

now look baldyblue, i hesitate to invade your boards again, but during the summer one of your lads was shouting the odds about walking the league, and some friendly banter developed on both our boards, we have put up with the tags of tinpots, strawberry town etc, but although handily placed we are not quite walking the league. any way i predicted a 1-1 draw for the gas yesterday with harrold scoring. a really gutsy performance from the gas which may give hope for the future. i shall depart again now, not before telling your captain tom tit to fook off as well. so you lot started it, and it has been fun, ask chris. life will be a little more boring without the banter, but i wish gas all the best, start climbing the league but not too close!. i am thinking now about your tv encounter against totton. lol, ooh me sides!! chris what is the excuse this time!
its just bitterness that we beat them few years ago in play offs and again this season even though we were ****. some people just struggle to move on. especicially jenny. she was missing for ages after we won this season. if it was near the time we were playing then i would understand. but we dont meet for another 3 months. this obsession with us is very unhealthy. if they are desperate to be on our board, they need to remember its the rovers board and they would be guests. posting on all threads is not needed and from now on wont be tolerated. i have received a complaint by personal message about this issue and there has been a few comments by other gasheads showing confusion why shrews are on our board! therefore i will act on this. message to the shrews fans, if you really want to be on our board then make 1 thread titled something like 'rovers/shrewberry banter thread' and just post on that. if any gashead want to play along with you then you have a dedicated thread to stay on. amy gasheads who are not interested with your tin pot club can then simply ignore that dedicated thread and instead have the rest of our threads untouched by your crap nonsense. or better still, fook off all together. there is your options. aj, get a grip princess.

i havent been on your board in ages. i have no reason to do so as im not obessed with your tin pot club. its been a very long time since we played and beat you. and we are ages away from the return game. therefore i have no need to be on your board. when our game happens, im happy to mock you or congratulate you from my own board. if chris or anyone else goes on your board thats nothing to do with me. im not a mod on your board. i cant and wont control that. i have received a complaint by a gashead and a few comments have been added by gasheads on threads about the shrews being on our board. as a mod, i have to act on this. remember, if you come on our board you are a guest. behave like one. no need to flood EVERY single thread with your banter. i have noticed some comments from you aj which are in my opinion are constructive which i will be happy to keep. but if you or any other shrew insist on flooding our threads i will delete comments and simply request banning orders. i am more than happy though for you to create a banter thread and then who ever wants to be on it, can. and whoever wants to ignore it, can. that way everyone wins. our threads are left alone and you keep your banter going with those interested. what do you say?
